  Majic happens when you got your best friend , her Canon AE-1, and a beautiful day outside. We found ourselves taking a walk in the local park after lunch, the weather was just right. There’s something about when the afternoon sun hits my skin that makes me smile - like the sunshine giving me a nice warm hug. Sometimes the simplest things make me so happy/excited.                I received this Brianel tee as a gift upon volunteering for Joyrich during Los Angeles Fashion Week about four years ago. It's honestly the most comfortable shirt I've ever worn - reason being it's made by Alternative Apparel . These photos were taken before things got sultry on the same day during my " Natural Chemistry " shoot. A collection of test shots while experimenting with props, accessories, and lighting. I'm such a fan of black and white photos, and love how raw a photo can look when using film. Around 85% of my closet is a collected mecca of vintage and thrifted finds from cities all over Los Angeles. I always shy away from bright white/beige, but these three pieces seem to work with my body and are definitely part of my favorite dresses I own. On occasion, there are moments when my mind slips into a setting of a nostalgic time I wish I lived in. This day in particular was one of them. Playing dress up, running around the house barefoot, sipping whiskey & listening to Artie Shaw. As seasons change and hearts grow colder, and I grow more comfortable with myself then I've ever been.  After all, you cannot begin to love someone if you don't love yourself. This is a learning process I'm adapting to daily.   This was my first shoot that wasn’t taken by one of my best friends capturing the images, it was done by someone who came to me interested in collaborating for artful purposes and I was open to this new experience. I 've been wanting to do a shoot that required a little less clothing then I'm used to, while being fun and tasteful. Personally, there are times when it doesn't matter what you're wearing on the surface, it's what's underneath that counts.  I believe it’s important for every woman to feel her greatest. I've been very sceptic on the color jean trend, but went and bought a pair anyway. These jeans   are such a great fit and hug my curves in all the right places. I planned this outfit knowing that layering the sweater was a must. Suddenly remembered about this vintage button up with cute collar ruffle details -something suttle that won't take away from the best grandma sweater ever (both vintage). To polish my Tuesday getup I added my fall/winter staple, the wedge slip on bootie . Where are some places that you shop to feed your knit sweater crave?

  Seasons of change bring fresh elements to my lifestyle and influence the daily routine. Autumn in Los Angeles is gorgeous; it’s my favorite time of year. Take advantage of this season by trying something out of your comfort zone. Statement: A blunt bang cut, bold accessories, or that lip color you've been dying to try, just say yes and never look back. I'm known among my friends to throw a party (or two) every year. Most recently I threw myself a 1960s costume birthday party, and it was such a great time ! Theme parties provide a chance for guests to play dress-up, and for you to indulge your creative imagination. When successful, they’re unforgettable. Here are my tips to throwing a successful theme party: 1.)    Location : Focus on the number of guests you will be having. Once this is done, set a location . 2.)    Theme : From costume to hosting a wine tasting. This helps you figure out who to invite. 3.)    Entertainment : Music is a must for my parties, which is why I always have a Disk Jockey present. This is just one less substance I need to worry about while hosting.   I wanted the simplicity of the 1960s to be strong as the night continued; meaning no cell phones.
